Thomaston Democrats Launch 2021 Campaign

Last week, members of the Thomaston Democratic Town Committee unanimously endorsed candidates for the 2021 municipal election. We are proud to support this incredible group of highly qualified candidates for elected office in our beloved town.

First Selectman: Beth Campbell

Board of Selectmen: Jeff Dunn

Treasurer: Kristin Mosimann

Town Clerk: Cathy DuPont

Board of Education: Rebecca Guay Shypinka & Sarah Ethier

Fire Commission: Jerry Scully

Library Trustees: Barbara Lee & Jennifer Delaney

Assessment Appeals: David Shypinka

We are excited to introduce Beth Campbell and Jeff Dunn to lead our ticket. Beth has served on our Board of Education since 2013, including the most recent term as Chairwoman. She is a member of the Thomaston Covenant Church, a former coach with the Thomaston Little League, and a co-organizer of the Fourth of July Children’s Parade. She currently serves as a Quality and Training Analyst and has over twenty years of experience as a nurse case manager.

Jeff joins our ticket for re-election to the Board of Selectmen. In his first term, Jeff has been an advocate for businesses and residents around town as we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. Jeff is also a member of the Thomaston Economic Development Commission, the Rotary Club of Thomaston, and is the Executive Director of Landmark Community Theater.

Over the next few months, we look forward to introducing all our candidates that hope to earn your vote on November 2nd. Please follow our social media accounts to keep in touch with the campaign!
