TOWN TREASURER

Almost all money that moves through our town goes through the Town Treasurer's office. The Treasurer is responsible for the depositing, accounting for, and logging of all money received by the town. It's vital that we have the right people in roles like these with the right qualifications. We are pleased to introduce Kristin Mosimann for re-election to this important position.

Community Involvement:  Board of Selectmen (2013-2015), Board of Finance (2005-2013), Thomaston Historical Commission (2005-Current), Pension Committee (2006-Current), and the Board of Trustees/Treasurer for the Railroad Museum of New England (2015-2018)

Education: Masters in Science in Elementary Education, University of Bridgeport

B.S. Business Management Southern CT State University

Employment:  Current: 5th grade science and math teacher. Previous: Retirement services manager at Prudential


Candidate Statement: 


I am excited to be running for re-election for the Town Treasurer position. My financial services background, along, with my many years serving on the Board of Finance, provides me with all of the tools necessary to do this job well. It is my pleasure to serve the town and I look forward to two more years working with Town Hall staff.
