Jeff for

Board of Selectman

Meet Jeff Dunn, incumbent for Board of Selectman.

It has been a joy and a privilege to serve on the Board of Selectmen and as Police Commissioner over the last four years. Serving in these positions, I have seen firsthand how ideas, actions and decisions can positively impact the town of Thomaston.

I have been a resident of Thomaston my entire life. I take great pleasure in seeing all of the improvements and innovations unfold in our town. I choose to serve on various boards and organizations to do my part in creating additional opportunities for the town of Thomaston and its residents. Thomaston still has a great deal of untapped potential. I look forward to working with all of the dedicated volunteers of Thomaston to make the town the best it can be.

I am married to my wonderful wife, Sandy, and we raised our 3 sons in town. I currently serve on the Board of Selectman, as a Police Commissioner, Chair of the Thomaston Economic Development Commission, Rotarian and past Chair of Rotary Club of Thomaston, a Corporator for Thomaston Savings Bank, Executive Board Member and past Chair for Waterbury Arts and Culture Collaborative, and Executive Committee member of the Western CT Tourism District.

I have worked as Executive Director of the Landmark Community Theater for the last 13 years.

Why do I love Thomaston? It’s the best small town in America!
