Paid for by the Thomaston, Connecticut Democratic Town Committee (DTC), Richard Chandon, Treasurer

The Thomaston Democratic Town Committee is proud to continue our tradition of awarding a scholarship to a Thomaston resident who plans to study political science, communication, economics, criminal justice, or a student who demonstrates strong activism within the school and/or broader community.

This year, the Thomaston Democrats are proud to present this scholarship in honor of Mr. Bill Gloade. Bill has served our town in a vast array of capacities, including as a member of the Senior Citizens Advisory Board and the Planning and Zoning Commission. Bill previously served as the Chairman of the Democratic Town Committee and we are proud to present our scholarship this year in his honor.

Thomaston students can apply for our scholarship by obtaining the application directly from the Thomaston High School guidance office. We expect that the application will be available Spring 2020.
