I am a retired English Teacher, I taught at Pomperaug High School from 1979 to 2014. And I currently am a Study Skills and Language Arts Tutor at the University of Connecticut. I enjoy serving my community. I am the Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors for the Family Intervention Center in Waterbury, a VITAS In Patient Unit Hospice aide at Saint Mary's Hospital, a Public Education Officer at the Coast Guard Auxiliary in Milford, a Lector and Bereavement Counselor at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Waterbury, and a Surfrider (Coastal Environmental Action) of the Connecticut Chapter.

I have a BS and MA degree from Southern CT State University, and a Humanistic Education from Sacred Heart University. 

I look forward to increasing the connections between the town library and our schools' libraries, with the goal of innovating curriculum, and career opportunities for our students and patrons through shared resources, programs and joint activities.
