This will be my third term on Board of Finance and I am running again for the same reason that I ran almost 12 years ago, I love Thomaston. I decided years ago that if I wanted to preserve our way of life here in town and keep it financially strong, I would have to become involved. 

I have been married to my wife, Heidi, for 32 years, and we raised our son, Aaron in Thomaston.

I am currently the Vice Chair of the Board of Finance, I also serve on the Thomaston Economic Development Commission, Thomaston Town Center Planning Committee, Rotary Club of Thomaston, as a Director for Thomaston Savings Bank’s Board of Directors. I previously served on Thomaston Water Pollution Control Authority, and as a Corporator for Thomaston Savings Bank.

Since becoming a member of the Board of Finance and Economic Development Commission, I believe that even though we have faced many financial challenges, the town has maintained a strong financial position. We have accomplished this while maintaining the services that people have come to expect keeping taxes stable and improving Thomaston’s infrastructure. I feel my experience as a local business owner and the past 12 years as a member of the Board of Finance has made me uniquely qualified to face the upcoming difficulties that we may encounter due to state budget shortfalls.
